Champion

The yellow Champion bib is worn by the male and female athlete with the most current Champion points before each event. The overall winner is the athlete with most Champion points after the season in each gender. Athletes single best result from a Ski Classics Challengers event is included.Awards will be handed out at the Ski Classics Final Gala.

Sprint

The yellow Champion bib is worn by the male and female athlete with the most current Champion points before each event. The overall winner is the athlete with most Champion points after the season in each gender. Athletes single best result from a Ski Classics Challengers event is included.Awards will be handed out at the Ski Classics Final Gala.

Climb

The squared patterned “Lumberjack” Climb bib is worn by the male and female with the most current Climb points before each event. There are 0-2 Climb checkpoints in the events. The ten fastest men and five fastest women split times at the climb checkpoint lines will get points. The overall winner is the athlete with most Climb points after the season in each gender. Awards will be handed out at the Ski Classics Final Gala.

Youth

The pink Youth bib is given to the best male and female athlete of age 26 or below. The age of the athlete is determined by the year when the Ski Classics final of the season take place. Points in the Champion competition is used. Athletes single best result from a Ski Classics Challengers event is included. Awards will be handed out at the Ski Classics Final Gala.

Pro Team

The Pro Team competition is determined by the total amount of Pro Team points after the season. Pro Team points are distributed at each Pro Tour event based on the Pro Team’s collected Champion points from the Pro Team’s best two male athletes and best two female athletes, the total Sprint and Climb points collected by the athletes and 50% of the Youth points of the best female athlete and best male athlete. Awards will be handed out at the Ski Classics Final Gala.

GRAND SLAM

The Grand Classics events are Marcialonga, Jizerska Padesátka, Vasaloppet and Birkebeinerrennet. The athlete that wins all four events in one season completes a Grand Slam.

Visma Alp Trophy

The Alp Trophy is decided by adding the champion points in event 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, all taking place in the Alps. Awards will be handed out at the Ski Classics Final Gala.

Visma Nordic Trophy

The Nordic Trophy is decided the adding the champion points in event 8, 9, 10 and 11, all taking place in the Nordic countries. Awards will be handed out at the Ski Classics Final Gala.

Visma Skier of the Day

After each event Ski Classics will award the Skier of the Day. The award is handed out if a male or female athlete has significantly tried to set pace in the race. Awards will be handed out at the flower ceremony after each event and prize money will be distributed after the Ski Classics Final Gala.

SC Ranking

SC Ranking points are handed out in all Ski Classics events. Ranking points are based on the race time difference between a skier and the winner in their gender. The 15 best event ranking points during last 24 months are counted. The seeding in Ski Classics events and the VIP remuneration are based on SC Ranking.
